Clement of Ohrid was disciple of Cyril and Methodius; bishop and teacher of the Slavs in Ohrid. The years given for this life are c. 840–916. The faithful keep his memory with the other equals of the apostles. The New Calendar feast is July 27.

Orthodox Christians usually take Clement of Ohrid as a patron when they bear the name Clement; Kliment at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on July 27. Those who share his calling as a teacher also ask his prayers.
