Why they are a saint
When he was only fifteen, St Cyril left home in secret to join the Monastery of St Cornelius of Komel (May 19). The Orthodox Church commemorates Cyril the Wonderworker on February 4.

Orthodox Christians usually take Cyril the Wonderworker as a patron when they bear the name Cyril at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on February 4. As a monastic, he is also asked for help in prayer, fasting, and repentance.
