On Tuesday of Saint Thomas week we remember those Orthodox Christians from all ages who have died in faith, and in the hope of resurrection. The Orthodox Church commemorates Day of Rejoicing on May 14.

Orthodox Christians usually take Day of Rejoicing as a patron when they bear the name Day at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on May 14.
