Saint Demetrius of Tsilibinsk (14th Century), founder of the Archangel Tsilibinsk wilderness monastery in Vologda diocese, was a beloved disciple of Saint Stephen of Perm (April 26). The Orthodox Church commemorates Demetrius of Tsilibinsk on October 26.

Orthodox Christians usually take Demetrius of Tsilibinsk as a patron when they bear the name Demetrius at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on October 26. Russian Orthodox faithful also honor his as one of their own.
