Why they are a saint
Saint Diodoros (Diódoros) of Yuriegorsk, George Hill (Георгиевского холма) was born in the village of Turchasovo on the Onega River, half-way between Archangelsk and Kargopol. The Orthodox Church commemorates Diodoros on November 20.

Orthodox Christians usually take Diodoros as a patron when they bear the name Diodoros at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on November 20. As a monastic, he is also asked for help in prayer, fasting, and repentance.
