Erastus, Olympas, Rodion, Sosipater, Quartus, and Tertios, Apostles of the 70 are commemorated by the Orthodox Church on November 10. Venerated as apostles who preached the Gospel of Christ; little else about their lives has come down to us.

Patronage / why chosen as patron

Orthodox Christians usually take Erastus as a patron when they bear the name Erastus at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on November 10. As an apostle, he is also asked to pray for missionaries and those who spread the Gospel.
