Why they are a saint

Saint Gregory is mentioned in the Patmos Codex 266 as follows: “The Holy Fathers Gregory of Constantia, Cyprus and Adrian.” Perhaps Saint Adrian was also a Bishop on Cyprus. The Orthodox Church commemorates Gregory of Constance on March 4.

Orthodox Christians usually take Gregory of Constance as a patron when they bear the name Gregory at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on March 4. As a bishop, he is also remembered by clergy and those who serve the Church.
