Saint Hilarion of Tvali (Tulashvili) served as abbot of Khakhuli Monastery in southwestern Georgia at the beginning of the 11th century. The Orthodox Church commemorates Hilarion of Tvali on July 24.

Orthodox Christians usually take Hilarion of Tvali as a patron when they bear the name Hilarion at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on July 24. Georgian Orthodox faithful also honor his as one of their own.
