New Hieromartyr Andrew the Presbyter and those with him: Martyrs Lydia, Domnica, Maria and two of his daughters († 1919) are commemorated by the Orthodox Church on January 6. Venerated as new martyrs who gave their life for Christ in more recent centuries; little else about their lives has come down to us.

Orthodox Christians usually take HM Andrew and comp. as a patron when they bear the name HM at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on January 6. As a martyr, he is also asked for courage and faithfulness under trial.
