Why they are a saint
Hieromartyr Milios, Bishop of Persia, and two of his disciples, Euores the Presbyter and Seboes the Deacon († 341) are commemorated by the Orthodox Church on November 10. Venerated as hieromartyrs, clergy who were put to death for the faith in Christ; little else about their lives has come down to us.
Patronage / why chosen as patron
Orthodox Christians usually take Milios as a patron when they bear the name Milios at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on November 10. As a martyr, he is also asked for courage and faithfulness under trial.
