Martyrs Paulinus, Birus, Ombrius, Sebirus, Callistratus, Florence, Arian, Anthimius, Ubricius, Isidore, Euculus, Sampson, Studius, and Thespesius are commemorated by the Orthodox Church on December 30. Venerated as martyrs who died for the faith in Christ; little else about their lives has come down to us.

Orthodox Christians usually take Paulinus as a patron when they bear the name Paulinus at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on December 30. As a martyr, he is also asked for courage and faithfulness under trial.
