St. Priscus, Bishop of Capua, Confessor, and his companions: Castrensis, Tammarus, Rosius, Heraclius, Secundinus, Adjutor, Mark, Augustus, Elpidius, Canion, and Vindonius are commemorated by the Orthodox Church on September 1. Venerated as confessors who suffered for openly professing faith in Christ; little else about their lives has come down to us.

Orthodox Christians usually take Priscus as a patron when they bear the name Priscus at baptism, or were born or baptized near the feast on September 1. As a bishop, he is also remembered by clergy and those who serve the Church.
