Saints Barsis († 378) and Eulogios, Bishops of Edessa, and Saint Protogenos, Bishop of Carrhae, Confessors (4th C) are commemorated by the Orthodox Church on August 25. Venerated as confessors who suffered for openly professing faith in Christ; little else about their lives has come down to us.
